RN Case Manager Jobs

Requirements of an RN Case Manager

Among the many qualifications of this job are strong communication skills, as you’ll be in constant communication with medical teams, patients and their families. Additionally, this position requires you to be highly organized with the ability to multitask. You will regularly be required to plan and coordinate patient care, resources and services on a case-by-case basis, making it essential that you adapt quickly to new situations.

In terms of education, most RN Case Manager positions require a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution. To be competitive in the field, it also helps to have a Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) or a certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
