RN Case Manager Requirements
To be eligible for a case manager position, you should be highly skilled at assessing patient conditions and needs in order to develop individualized care plans, and assess and update these plans as needed.
RN Case Manager positions with MedPartners require the following:
- Utilization Review
- Discharge Planning
- Experience with the following: Interqual; Cerner; McKesson; and Allscripts
- Ability to do paper charting
To be qualified for this position, you must be a registered nurse and have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. You must also be licensed and have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), as well as have at least a few years of experience working as an RN prior to be becoming a case manager.
